I rented a card via e-travel (the credit card charge was done by TRAVELUCION RESERVATIONS ADEJE CASCO). Few days before my trip, e-travel requested me to pay extra money to be able change the rental car agency. I cancelled the service they could not provide, and they wrote they will refund the paid amount to my credit card. However, they didn't refund me anything yet. If you read posts at www.tripadvisor.com, you will see that they take your booking and your money; then they don't return emails or phone calls.
compliance@e-travelcuba.com is a scam. They are tied to CUBA CAR rental somehow. They use the website, than gets re routed to Spain. DO NOT SHARE ANY INFORMATION. THIS IS A SCAM.
I have used www.cuba-car.com. This is SCUM site. Never use it. I lost 200€.

E-travel Cuba, associated to Travelution is a fraudulent site for car rentals in Cuba. I did rent a car from them in dec 2017 with a month anticipation made the reservation and paid for it. They sent me a confirmation email. When arriving at the rental office in Matanzas, my reservation wasn’t into the system and they didn’t have a car for me. They didn’t do anything to solve the problem and they had more reservations than cars. All the phone numbers on the site are fake and the online chat and emails are never answered. They spoiled my vacation, didn’t answer or look for solutions and till this moment hasn’t returned my money. I did see a lot of people having the same problem. The cars are really expensive and they charge 5% on top of the cost for the use of the credit card.
