who are these people i did not make this purchase
I had this as well. Start of a fraud where they tried to take £1500 from my account. Replace the card.
Yep, these !&$^%#*s got me too, twice, then a couple of other payees that I'd never heard of (possibly linked) the same day withdrew funds. 5 Deductions totalled $500 from my Visa debit card/ING, the card was cancelled (got a new one) and ING are investigating now. The company shows as 'FS*ahrefs.com' on my account in Australia.
They took RO 397.013 on 2/10/2018 equivalent to US $1032.6 in two transactions. The payment was to ‘FS*ahrefs.com.’ I don’t know them and what they do.
Had the same on my credit card on 26th Oct 2018. First transaction from FS*ahrefs.com for 399 USD followed by multiple transactions from ITUNES (in Pakistani Rupees). Thankfully I receive a text each time a transaction is made so i managed to cancel the card as quickly as i could.
i have no idea what charges are and I never sign up for this
WhT is this charge on my account? I did not sign up for this
It's a legitimate company named Ahrefs.com. I'm in marketing and my company uses this. But if you're not in marketing or SEO, someone is probably using your card to buy an Ahrefs subscription.
It is Ahrefs but they are making fraudulent charges to genuine customers as well, charging them for things at a whim.
