I paid a fee to join an Affiliate Program though UK based Awin service. They made me pay a $5.00 fee to establish my account and prove my credentials, after which the fee would be refunded. I didn't have an objection to that, as it would have been a financial relationship. That day, the $5.00 fee to DigitalWindow showed up. I'm chasing after the refund however, because it's been 10 days to set up the account with no word from the publisher, but it does jive with the fee they told me I'd be "temporarily paying." Just seems I now have to work to get it back.
