I was notified by my bank of 2 charges for this company which I did not authorize on 12/6/16. An investigation is being made.
Today 3 charges were received on my CC from the above name. The charges are fraudulent and appear to originate in Mexico. How the hell they hacked my CC number I do not know but an investigation is under way.
My husband's card had this charge. According to my bank, it was a point of sale transaction that was most likely done at a restaurant. That is when your card is out of your hands and in the hands of a server. They can then make a copy of the back and front or make the transaction right then. My husband had been at a TA in Candler, NC. He is a truck driver. They make easy targets since they are on the road and probably not paying attention to their bank accounts until it is too late. Good thing I stay on top of our banking. Our bank is now investigating. Looks like some dirtbag bought an airline ticket to Mexico. We are getting a prepaid card for him now to keep for on-the-road purchases. Also, I'll never use my debit card again for a restaurant.
A week after returning from Mexico, I get an email notification indicating pending charges for $233.26 from VivaEerobus! I immediately contacted by credit card company, Bank of America to contest this charge while canceling and requesting a new card in the process. We stayed at an all-inclusive resort while using the card only twice, for a taxi and while eating out at a restaurant in Playa del Carmen in which the waiter went away with my card. Anyways, it's horrible and it appears someone purchased a one way ticket within Mexico to another city.

I received 2 unauthorized purchases; one was declined for $2,099.00!! AND another actually charged in the amount of $1,668.00!! I called my credit card company immediately, cancelled my card, and have a report into the fraud department!

I received unauthorized transaction by Merchant: APODACA, VIVA AEROBUS CIB for $921.04.Charge was made in Mexican Pesos. Cancelled card, reported as fraud.

I received this charge for 594.44 on 5/26/23 but did not make this purchase. I disputed it with the bank and theyre investigating it.
Today I got a message from my CC company that my card was charged by Viva Aerobus CIB Apodaca Mex for the amount of €1437 & Volaris €496. I called the CC company and they cancelled the card. The only place I gave my CC was at the Hotel. I am receiving a new card in 2 days and the payments will be credited in 5 days in my account.
I got a message from MasterCard asking if a charge for $3050.20 from VIVA AEROBUS CIB was mine. I said "No" and the bank canceled my card. They will open a fraud file and send me replacement card within a week.
