Saw this charge on my cc statement. i dont recognize this. Would really be indebted if someone could jog my memory about where this came from
We recommend that non-profit organizations display a note on their confirmation screen and email receipt to inform donors that the donation, payment or transaction is processed by Blackbaud, and may appear as either BB*PENDING, Blackbaud, Pending- Blackbaud.com or the soft descriptor (located in Contact Details of the BBMS Web Portal listed as Statement Descriptor) on online statements. For Canadian organizations you should mention that Mississauga may display as well. Non-profit organizations may also want to include a link to a page on their web sites to describe the payment process.

This merchant charged $25 on my Master Card. Seems a scam.
It's the Cancer Research Society.
Could be the great trail donation
On my card it comes up as BB Pending..after research it is for CMAH a non profit group I sponsor.. Not a scam as far as I know

BB stands for the company name Blackbaud - a merchant payment processor for non-profit organizations - the merchant processes donations , fundraising transactions for companies such as The Canadian Cancer Research Society.
I don't recognize this name at all. I will speak to my Credit Card people.

For me it is from Our Daily Bread. It showed as "BB *ODB MINISTRIES CAN MISSISSAUGA ON". It has been over a month since I authorized them to charge my credit card and I forgot that I did that. The charge just came through this week.
it is still pending... but hope to turn unto Hospital for sick children..
I have this charged to my cibc visa debit card bank account monthly for $20 The only details shown are VISA DEBIT RETAIL PURCHASE BB*PENDING followed by a 12 digit number, which differ every month Black Bauld cannot help me
Showed up on my VISA acc't: turned out to be the donation I made to Cancer Wing of the Belleville, Ontario Hospital.
I donated to McMaster Children's Hospital in Hamilton, through a link sent by my friend and paid with my credit card, and it appeared on my statement as "BB*HAMHEALTHFND". Hope that gives you a clue.

2/4 years ago I went to Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens for a free will kit. The manager wanted my debit card for info of me. A day later I saw on my TD account $200 was withdrawn from my bank account by BB* Pending. The lady at TD customer service doubled up & said this was happening all the time & se wud cancel my card give me a new card & TD wud refund the $200 which they did. A SCAMMING bloody bunch of individuals. SHAME! SHAME! SHAME! in this the 21st Century. A lot of Companies including the Leprosy Mission of Canada, & The Canadian Red Cross have allowed these rotten American Companies to scam us. SHAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
