I think it's a scam
I got this yesterday also for nearly $800!
mine was 725.6
Charge me $4314.16 Next day charge me $700. Don't know what transaction for.
I got a call from my financial institution about a charge of over $2100 from AIR CAN-MB. Since this was not a charge I made my credit card has been suspended. This is definitely a scam and should be reported immediately if you credit card company has not already contacted you.
I got this charge as well 2 charges over 3 grand. Fraud.
Over $400. Scam for sure. I had lucky just purchased real tickets from Air canada and could see the clear difference in the bank statement of authentic Air Canada receipt vs. spam.
Had an unauthorized charge attempted from Air Can on 5/3/2018 of $560.68 and unfortunately my bank was unable to provide any information aside from Air Can and the charge was initiated in California. It seems that my card# was stolen somehow and then someone tried to use it. I am not aware if it was someone trying to purchase airline tickets (Air Canada) with my card, or if it another scam and Air Can is not actually Air Canada. If anyone has made purchases with their card and has any suspect businesses it may have been stolen from please post here. I have a few from new merchants using Square in the last month. Also deposits from FB messenger, I have not heard of security issues with FB messenger though.
I had two charges on my Visa online statement. One was for $618 and another for $300, both charged on the same day. I called Visa and they will remove the charge. The next day my Visa online statement gave an actual ticket number for the booking, so I call Air Canada to let them know. They had the booking under the name Mbala and it was a flight from Milan to Monteal that was only 4 days away. Both the charge and the booking have been cancelled. Sorry Mbala.
i got charged 190 dollars calling the bank now
