This is a Readers Digest renewal. The long number is their toll free phone number and can be called. Same thing happens when you sign in for automatic renewal by credit card. They are going to have to rethink this strategy, and provide some kind of reminder/receipt for these charges. Who remembers this stuff from one year to another?

Je l'ai su parce que j'ai reçu une lettre de Sélection du Reader's Digest plusieurs jours plus tard me disant que j'avais choisi la façon la plus économique de renouveler mon abonnement annuel!!!!! J'avais renouvelé mon abonnement l'an passé pour mon renouvellement SANS AUTORISATION de l'utiliser cette année! La madame n'était pas contente qu'ils se soient servis sans ma permission !!!!!!!!!!!! J'ai fait des menaces et ... on m'a autorisé mon renouvellement pour 2 ans ... bon rabais pour moi mais je les surveille en 2018! Vérifiez vos abonnements ... et évitez des frais de vérification avec vos banques ou compagnies de carte de crédit ET ... demandez un dédommagement de Sélection du Reader's Digest! Bonne chance!

C'est en visitant votre site que la lumière c'est faite.C'est mon abonnement à Sélection du Reader Digest pour 2016/2017. Le problème c'est que j'avais calculé le montant du avec les taxes mais il semble que dans l'abonnement les taxes sont incluses. J'avais complètement oublié cette transaction et c'est en vérifiant dans mon ordinateur que j'ai compris mon erreur. Je me suis déjà fait cloner ma carte alors à chaque relevé je le scrute à la loupe. Chat échaudé craint l'eau froide.

It's from the Reader's Digest media corporation. In my case the charge was $30 for a subscription to one of the RD magazines, Oh Canada.

Yeah, this is a charge for Readers Digest subscription, I just found it, but the worst thing is that they even call or email us that they are making these charges. We didn't ask for automatic renewal.

It states under the subscription amount to reacquaint ourselves with the Readers Digest policies regarding , "that the amount shown above will be charged to your credit card In approximately 30 days " ..I must of checked off the Easy Pay and Continuing gift Renewal Privilege , last year when I was renewing a gift subscription . Now that I am aware of this charge , it makes it a lot easier to renew my gift subscriptions. Thank you . .
