I had the same thing happen today on my card? Very strange I have no answers yet either
I have this charge and think its fraudulent
It is the fee for SISIP Critical Injury insurance (or maybe another type of policy offered by IA).
I believe it is an insurance policy However I cannot find any back up or contact information to check
I just called as i had the same charge. It is a critical illness insurance policy. I have mine through SISIP and i contacted them and they verified the charges are for the critical illness.

SISSIP Critical Illness Insurance
It's legit. Industrial-Alliance insurance company. I got the charge when I signed up for an employer-sponsored Critical Illness insurance policy. It pays a lump sum if one gets cancer, heart attack, etc. etc.. IA is one of Canada's major life insurance companies. It is based in Quebec City.
