I had this charge, too. Mine was for $8. I took an old toilet into the Eco station in Edmonton and at the time I recall they charged me to dump it, saying that it was garbage and they had to dispose of it. I had to call 311 to ask the Edmonton information operator if he could tell me what it was for...he said NWECO stands for NorthWest Eco station. But I thought the charge was suppposed to be $12. $8 is better! Good luck with yours. Have you gone to your friendly neighbourhood friendly Eco Station?
